Fan, the skin leaf delicately painted with chinoiserie surrounded by still lifes with flowers and fruits and insects.
Very rich carved, pierced and engraved ivory sticks and guards. The tops of the guards are carved with a dancer wearing a mask. The sticks decorated with putti, bees and flaming hearts framing a gallant scene with music in the central cartel and side medallions featuring women painter.
Condition: tears and restorations to the leaf, accidents to the guards.
