Fan, the silk leaf embroidered with sequins and painted : two medallions of flowering vases frame a cartel where a woman holds out her hand to a fortune-teller who prefers to see the future and feelings in the eyes.

Legend on a stone: “Je lis dans les yeux” [I read in the eyes] and on a book (illegible).

Rich sticks and guards pierced, engraved and applied with gold and silver leaf. The top of the guards carved with a gallant holding a mask.

Good condition (small stains and tears)

Height: 27.5 cm
