Fan, the leaf painted with three cartels of country scenes and richly embroidered with sequins and gold thread.
The sticks and guards are carved, pierced, engraved and applied with gold and silver leaf.
The upper part of each guards features two windows concealed by gold discs gold behind which can be read the joys and evils affecting the human race, escaped from Pandora's box: beauty, joy, strength, fecundity, friendship, pain, war, envy, sadness, weakness, sterility, hope, misery, shame, slavery, madness, baseness, despair...
A small push-button on the other side of the guard changes the text.
Condition: tears and restorations. It is difficult to change the text in the guards.
