Fan, the paper leaf painted on a black background of an outdoor scene where musicians are practicing under the patronage of Diana. In the background, a bowling group.
On the reverse, a lakeside landscape animated by gallants playing skittles and flying deer.
Sticks are carved, pierced, engraved, painted, varnished and applied with burgau mother-of-pearl. The top of the guards in mother-of-pearl.
Good condition (some minor restorations and tears to the leaf, burgau missing from the sticks).
