Wooden fan, the fabric leaf is painted of the Venice carnival.
We particularly recognize two mattacini, egg-throwers (eggs filled with perfumed water for pretty women, or rotten eggs for those they don't like!).
There are also Pantalone, Isabella and Lelio (or Il Capitano) and perhaps Brighella.
On the reverse, the sun god Helios driving his chariot.
Good general condition (small tears at folds).
