Seasons of Love, fan by Reignier 1865
Mother of pearl fan, the skin leaf painted with loves through the seasons: in spring, in a weeping willow-lined stream, the cherubs fish and bathe; in summer and autumn, in a Mediterranean landscape, they hunt turtle-doves; in winter, near a frozen lake in a snowy mountain forest, they feed a fire to keep warm.
