Founded in 1890 by François Mainguy and René Émery, Le Fin de siècle was a worldly journal renowned for its playful style and saucy drawings. In 1893, at its “Fin de siècle ball”, some of the guests caused quite a stir with their libertine outfits. In 1909, the paper changed its name to Le Nouveau Siècle, and disappeared in 1910.
