Two fans by the artist Thomasse, for the fan maker Duvelleroy, with a crowing rooster motif, perhaps an evocation of Edmond Rostand's 1910 play Chantecler.
- Fan, the black tulle leaf applied with a white lace rooster, enhanced with silver sequins. Steel-sequin-stitched tortoiseshell sticks and guards, with serpentine guards at the top.
Good condition (minor accidents some with restorations to the back of a few bouts).

A similar fan is shown in the reference work Éventails by Françoise de Pethuis and Vincent Meylan, Hermé, Paris, 1989. p. 180-181.
- Wooden fan, the paper leaf printed with the same triumphant rooster. Inscribed Duvelleroy Paris.
Fair condition (small stains and tears)
