An amusing fabric fan leaf painted with a small sketch, with a beautiful mise en abîme as the various scenes are framed in fans.
Pierrot enters an inn where "one gives food and drink", he enjoys himself, but as he's about to leave, he's asked to pay the bill. As his pockets are empty, a gendarme arrests him and he ends up in prison.
