Skin fan leaf (disassembled) painted with a mythological scene inspired by frescoes discovered at Pompeii and Herculaneum: Hercules bringing the bull to Eurystheus (one of Hercules' twelve labors being the capture of the Cretan bull).

The iconography is reminiscent of the productions of the early 16th-century Italian engraver Giovanni Antonio Da Brescia, based on Antiquity, notably the Campana relief such as the one in the Louvres "L'Hiver et Hercule portant le taureau de Crète" (inv n° CP4170).
