Signed by the painter Charles Edouard de Beaumont (French painter, watercolorist and lithographer 1812-1888, son of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Beaumont, he was a student of the painter Boisselier and made his debut at the Salon in 1838. He founded in 1879 with Vibert, the Society of the Watercolorists).
With a label inscribed in French Fan with watercolors of Edouard de Beaumont having belonged to Mme Edgard Ney (It could be the Countess widow of La Bédoyère, Clotilde de La Rochelambert, who married in 1869 Edgar Napoleon Henry Ney, prince of the Moskowa and the 4th son of Marshal of the Empire Michel Ney)
Condition : tears and restoration on leaf, on lower guard repaired
