Pair of fixed fans in cardboard paper applied with engraved medallions, illustrated in the antique taste.
On the reverse the words Duty and Friendship are formed by a human alphabet in the style of the Italian artist Giuseppe Maria Mitelli or the German Peter Flötner.
The figures of Mercury, swans, griffins and ornamentation recall the decorative arts of the roman frescoes and Renaissance.
