William Tell or the Swiss history, late 19th century lace
Delicate lace (needlepoint, 18th century Venice style) depicting the Swiss hero Wilhelm Tell and his son as they are represented in statue in Altdorf by the Swiss sculptor Richard Kissling, carved between 1882 and 1895.
