Cardboard box, perhaps intended for a knotting shuttle, covered in arte povera depicting a fly, or horsefly, annoying an ox, a shepherd tries to scare it away. A sheep and a man presenting a snake to a child frame the scene.
Condition: tears, chipped varnish
Bears a late 19th-century collector's label in the name of Varlet.
