The revolving lid allows a Belle to see the different faces of Love in her mirror, written in french L’espérance le berce, La Fidélité le conduit, Amour pour tout, L’Amitié le console, L’Hymen le couronne, Il s’envole. [Hope cradles him, Faithfulness leads him, Love for all, Friendship consoles him, Hymen crowns him, He flies away].
