The front features a reverse printing on glass portrait of General Canrobert, (François Certain de Canrobert 1809-1895) Commander-in-Chief of the French Army in the Orient in 1854.
The back features a large piece of white mother-of-pearl engraved with a hunting scene of dogs chasing a hare. Signed Sappery ??
