Bone fan, the leaf is painted of a large view of Macau harbor.
Iimportant Portuguese trading post since the 16th century (its flag can be seen at the top of the buildings), the bay of Macau, located on a peninsula in the estuary of the Pearl River delta in southeast China, welcomes trading ships from other European countries (one in our fan has the French flag) amidst small traditional boats.
On the reverse, an audience with a messenger on a white horse.
Good overall condition (small tears to the leaf, restoration to the top of a stick and a guard).
